[Chapter-delegates] New Zealand - ACTA

Good morning all, and thank you Alejandro for your message to members
regarding the next round of negotiations on ACTA in New Zealand (12-16 April
2010).

The Internet Society is planning to submit a statement, along the lines of
the statement to the Directorate General for Trade for the European
Commission, to the NZ Ministry of Economic Development by 31 March 2010, in
advance of the next round of negotiations.

Last Monday, the EC's representative announced that there will be a "civil
society" meeting in New Zealand during the ACTA negotiations. According to a
purported leaked copy of the draft agenda, there was a proposal for a
meeting between stakeholders and delegates on 13 April 2010. Has anyone
heard anything official regarding this meeting?

Please keep me informed about what is happening re ACTA in your region and
any ACTA related activities you may be participating in.
