While not decrying bottom up processes I, for one, am happy that ISOC
now has the resources to hire staff that can give issues like T&I the
kind of dedicated attention they deserve. I believe that what is
needed is more communication - including presentations and materials -
 so that Staff, Chapter leaders and members can get truly engaged.

Here at ISOC-NY this is where a lot of our effort goes, in the form of
events - which I do my best to document. Now that we have embarked on
a live webcasting program, hopefully other chapters will be able to
participate, and I look forward to participating in others following
our example (hello isoc-dc!).

The regional bureaus can do much to facilitate this.
