Dear Colleagues,

This is just a friendly reminder that in 2010 financial assistance is
available for "Membership reinvigoration" (aka Event funding). Each
chapter is eligible to apply for USD 2,000 to help with the costs of
putting on an event. Each Chapter is eligible to apply just once a
year and the deadline for applying is December 31st. The money cannot
be carried over into 2011.

The purpose of the programme is to help you get in touch with members
and to recruit new members. You can even use the programme to ask
members for ideas for an event and volunteers to organise the event.
Money can be available in one lump sum or in smaller pieces.

Applying is easy, and the details of the programme are at: http://www.isoc.org/isoc/chapters/funding/

So far in 2010, we have only had 4 applications, so we would love to
see more! If you have any queries about how the programme works,
please don't hesitate to contact <chapter-support at isoc.org> or your
Regional Bureau manager.

We are trying to build up an archive of past events on the ISOC
website at: http://isoc.org/wp/chapter-events/ so we can proudly
"share our success" so if you have photos and a small write up, please
do share it with us. As always feedback on the programme is welcome
(to the chapter support email address).

thanks again and we look forward to receiving your applications.

Anne
