Dear Chapters,
This message is to let you know that the Internet Society (Lynn St. Amour)
has been invited to provide framing remarks at the upcoming FCC Open
Internet Workshop on Innovation, Investment, and the Open Internet. This is
linked to an FCC regulatory proceeding on the Open Internet that sweeps in
many of the so-called "net neutrality" issues. Please forward this
information to your Chapter Members.
Although this is a U.S. regulatory proceeding, we are sending the
information to our Membership since the issues expected to be raised at this
event are gaining the attention of the Internet community and policy makers
around the globe.
The event will be take place on Wednesday, January 13 at 16:30 EST (23:30
UTC) at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
