[Chapter-delegates] UN request for info on ISOC steps toward enhanced cooperation

Glad to help. I realize I left one other valuable contribution.

At the NYC forum on the IRT proposals for trademark protections in new
gTLDs, ICANN's own techs were late getting going after lunch and
missed webcasting /recording the opening of the public comment period
- which was just when some of the most vociferous opposition was
voiced. ISOC-NY captured and posted video of statements by Kathy
Kleiman and others that were widely viewed online. Eventually ICANN
accepted that consensus had not been reached and, via a re-appraisal
by the STI Working group, the most contentious issue, a Global
Protected Marks List, was dropped entirely.
