I'm really sad you think that way Franck, and as a member of the Board
of Trustees, elected by the Chapters, I absolutely do not hold that
view. I've also not seen it in evidence in my term to date. Sure,
there is always room for improvement, and I do have a sense that
people are keen to make the improvements. Indeed Raul (as Chair), and
others continually seek the Chapters' views on things.

This thread, does however also have a point. The Chapters should, in
my view, be engaging with their governments to reverse the decision.
How each of the Chapters go about that will be up to them. I urge the
chapter representatives to use the material that ISOC has provided on
the many related topics. Indeed, I'm hoping we in the Australian
Chapter can meet with the relevant government people and put that
position.

I also have no doubt the ISOC chapter contacts for the various regions
will give chapters a hand, where they can, to prepare them/ourselves
for such a meeting.
