Hi,
I wondered if you might be -- but I don't see how that event (which
was, indeed, a meeting (not a panel), and only happened to be located
in Silicon Valley as a matter of logistical convenience) would have
supported the kinds of things you cited in your first message: the
meeting needed *not* to have awareness raised, wouldn't have helped
you/ISOC with membership, etc.
While I'm happy to get a better perspective on how we can be mutually
helpful and supportive, I'm pretty sure there will continue to be
meetings (which are different than "events") that happen quietly.
