Hello Khaled,
As you have noted, the "http://InternetSociety.org" now redirects to http://ISOC.org
and we have begun to use InternetSociety.org for pointers in
communications material (such as general publications and press
releases).
This is helpful since InternetSociety.org references and reinforces
the Internet Society name for audiences who may not be already
acquainted with the Internet Society as "ISOC".
Please note that nothing is changing about the way ISOC.org "works".
ISOC.org is well established within the community as the domain name
for the Internet Society, and it will continue to be used in many
cases. In fact, ISOC.org is useful even for external audiences where
it is possible to establish clearly that ISOC is shorthand for
"Internet Society".
So, "ISOC.org" remains our default domain name and the one we use in
the majority of cases. However, being able to use
"InternetSociety.org" for general communications purposes is a nice
option.
Hope that helps,
-Greg
