[Chapter-delegates] [IGF 2009] Background information document on IGF 2009

Dear Colleagues,

 

This is to follow-up on the Internet Society's preparations for the fourth
edition of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) that will be held in Sharm El
Sheikh, from 15 to 18 November 2009. Members have contributed to ISOC's
position through the Survey we conducted in February and the preparatory
conference calls held in September with Bill Graham (Strategic Global
Engagement, Office of the President). Also, 18 first-time and 4 returning
Ambassadors are joining the ISOC delegation to the IGF this year. We thank
our members for all this input and look forward to continuing the dialogue
in Sharm El Sheikh and beyond.
