[Chapter-delegates] ISOC Association Management System (AMS) May project update

Hello all -

The deployment of the new ISOC Association Management System is  
proceeding as planned.  The Aptify product (now including the web  
portal) has been installed and is now populated with ISOC data.  The  
web portal has been demonstrated and resulting requirements/feedback  
submitted to Aptify.

As written in the last update, Phase One of the project will be a  
deployment of the ISOC-internal AMS system, and Phase Two will be a  
rollout of a chapter/member facing web portal for this same system.   
Among other functions, this portal will allow chapters to securely  
manage their own membership data on the web.

Here is a summary of activities since the last update (attached for  
reference):

*  Linking of existing Chapter and Member data on Aptify server
*  The Aptify web portal software (called eBusiness) has now been  
installed on the ISOC development server
*  This portal software has been demonstrated to ISOC for purposes of  
requirements gathering, and initial changes/customisation requests  
have been submitted to Aptify.
*  As this will be the main interface for chapters and members,  
another session will be scheduled to demonstrate the proposed  
functionality to the Chapter Steering Committee
*  Requirements for Members, Chapters, Grants, Events and Finance are  
complete & documented,  and have been resubmitted to the vendor
*  Configuration phase for the Aptify server is now underway
*  ISOC project managers will be in Reston with Aptify resources next  
week (week of June 1st) for in-person project meetings
