[Chapter-delegates] The Future Internet

Hello Oliver,

What are the visions of the Internet Future that are in conformity with the
Internet values?  Lynn St Amour has talked about the Internet Model as part
of her speeches in various forums, Vint Cerf has briefly outlined a
prediction, but is there an ISOC-like document on the Future of Internet?
Or, more precisely, what OUGHT TO be the Future of the Internet? Has ISOC
spelt out its vision? Or are there any documents that ISOC considers as
outlines in conformity with the Internet values?As we see wrong ideas such
as the ITU's erroneous ideas on the Future of Internet gets published it is
important, not only to counter that by comments and email debates, but more
effectively by preparing a blue print, complete with arguments as to how
telecoms and other businesses can prosper well within the Internet Model and
with arguments to show how Security concerns could be addressed without
introducing draconian legislations. If we don't have one, it is time we
prepared one.

Visions of the future are always fascinating, but only a very few people can
see through how a certain program or proposal would upset the Internet
model. I have recently posted two videos in the chapter blog
http://isocmadras.blogspot.com from TED. One is a Talk by Kevin Kelly on the
"next 5000 days of the Web", which is very interesting as a blog post. There
are several such resources, but which of these visions could be dubbed as
the right concepts and inspirations?  What is right and what is wrong?

May be we need an INET with the theme "Future of the Internet"?
