Hi,

we have been in contact with Internet Society China quite a while back
in 2003.
A large group counting seven people from China was touring Europe and we
met officially (ISOC German chapter and Internet Society China) for a
half day talking about the Internet. They talked in detail about their
position and asked for help for being recognized as an ISOC chapter.

I forwarded a report to ISOC-staff and talked later with Lynn about the
situation. The contacts were then followed on directly from Reston and
ISOC Germany was no longer involved directly.
