[Chapter-delegates] Additional Chapter Handbook Files Available

Dear Chapter Delegates,

Following a suggestion that we make the Chapter Handbook files more  
easily accessible, we now have an .odt version (plus accompanying  
PDFs) of each section available at http://wiki.chapters.isoc.org/tiki-index.php?page=Chapter+Handbook&bl=n&saved_msg=y 
. They are formatted using font Arial.

Many thanks for all of your input thus far. We look forward to many  
more comments by the end of this week. Following that, we will  
finalize the files and have them reposted for your use. We are working  
on a highly dynamic Web version of the handbook as well as more  
refined versions of the WP and PDF files. We expect to have  
translations available in about a month.

Please remember that the Chapter Handbook is a work in progress. Your  
experiences, tips, suggestions, and advice for other Chapter leaders  
are always welcome, particularly when it comes to areas such as  
fundraising, membership growth and retention, marketing,  
communications (including use of social media and Web development),  
and leadership succession. We hope you will keep that in mind, not  
only as you review the drafts but as you continue to develop your  
Chapter.
