[Chapter-delegates] Membership Survey on Internet Governance - Deadline 6 May 2009
Wed Apr 15 11:06:25 PDT 2009
Dear Members,
The Internet Society is launching a survey to all members on Internet
governance matters: http://www.isoc.org/tools/surveys/index.php?sid=22
The objective of this survey is to assist ISOC in addressing Internet
governance issues in the discussion up to and including the Internet
Governance Forum (IGF) in Sharm El Sheikh in November 2009. It is also
designed to help ISOC contribute to the current consultation on “the
desirability of the continuation of the Forum in formal consultation
with Forum participants” after 2010.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with information about
your experiences and your analysis of the state of the Internet
governance debate in your country.
Deadline: 6 May 2007
Read more about Internet governance on ISOC’s site: http://www.isoc.org/isoc/conferences/wsis/IGF.shtml
We would also be interested in knowing if your chapter has plans to
propose or to collaborate in a workshop for the IGF, if accepted. As
you probably know, the forms for a preliminary workshop proposal and
other information are available on the IGF web site: www.intgovforum.org
, and the deadline for proposals has been extended to April 21.
Please let me and Constance Bommelaer know if you do have plans.
Best regards,
Bill
