[Chapter-delegates] PacINET 2008 starting in 45mn

S., Mike, friends,
maybe I would look into this in a very different way.
Last time I took part in a PacINET meeting, a year or two ago, I was moved
by the fact that one participant from an island country had to leave the
meeting due to the fact that her use of Marratech was consuming all the
bandwidth available for her country.
And it is not only bandwidth that is scarce, nor is that the only problem
one can have, as this well-educated community is best posed to know.
Delays, double satellite hops, instabilities of all kinnds, all conspire
to make life difficult.
It is really tough out there. Franck, Raj, and many others whose names
don't make it to the chapter delegates list, are heroic in not only
running the Net but also holding meetings over it.
So, maybe we could put our collective brain and soul together and find a
way to support them next time?
