Hello Alessandro,

If we have chapters that have been able to organize regional events
impressively, a global event wouldn't be difficult.

The first of the INET needs to be planned for a participation of 3000
delegates from around the world, including invited participation from
IETF, ICANN and related internet organizations.

Venue, Food, giveaways, network dinners for five days for 3000
participants = 5 X $100 x 3000 = $ 1.5 million. Call an IBM, CIISCO or
a Comcast and and pick this up. ( Easily said, but may have to split
into various sponsorship opportunities for a consortium of sponsors )

Fellowships for Travel & Accomodation = 100 ISOC participants + 100
from related organizations,  ISOC to allocate 100 x $ 3000 = $ 300,000

Speakers, ISOC Officers and Board =  200 x $ 5,000  + 50 x $ 10000 = $ 1,50,000

Total of what is generalized above: $ 1.95 million
Other expenditure not generalized $ 1.05 million

US $ 3 million. Call an IBM, CIISCO or a Comcast and and pick this up.
( Easily said, but may have to split into various sponsorship
opportunities for a consortium of sponsors )

Would be money well spent, productively spent. An absolutely needed
allocation for a very necessary event.
