hi Alejandro, All,
There has been consistent feedback from chapters that a mechanism to
connect travelling potential speakers to local chapter events would be a
'good thing'. This need is reflected in the Chapter Development Plan at:
http://wiki.chapters.isoc.org/tiki-index.php?page=Chapter+Development+Plan&bl
or : http://tinyurl.com/4xvcre
under "Tools, Communications and Support"
If there is interest in a chapter led approach as you suggest below, to
look at what would be useful and how this could be done in a
"lightweight" fashion, I would be very interested to participate in or
facilitate a group. At the very least - perhaps you and I could chat off
list Alejandro (and anyone else interested would be very welcome to join).
Best wishes,
Anne
