Dear all,
I am happy that a dedicated initiative is foully focused on chapter
participation, and I am sure that our colleagues around the world will
have a lot of concerns.
That's why I would like to know if phone consultations will be
conducted in multilingual or no ? We know that most of our chapter
delegates are English spoken but not all of them have the English as
mother tongue or first language. In my case for example the English is
my third one after the Arabic and French.
If we need to have a real "grows stronger while it grows bigger" effect
of the "sphere" name, we should ensure that chapters delegates ( or even
outside delegates ) have the opportunity to express them self in their way.
I think that a phone-consultation and a wiki are not enough for the such
project, we need to implement other tools.
Regards,
Khaled

> Dear Colleagues,
>
> We would like to extend a warm invitation to you to join a new
> initiative in 2008 called the ISOC ?Sphere? project. The project
> is a key activity in the ?Stakeholder Relationships? section of
> the Chapter Development Plan.
>
> The name of the project, ?Sphere? is derived from the shape of a
> geodesic dome, which is the only man-made structure that grows
> stronger while it grows bigger, where the inter-connected elements
> are highly dependent on one another and working together.
>
> The project seeks to develop the relationships between ISOC Chapters
> and ISOC Global. It is expected that three or four key initiatives
> will emerge from the work that will progress and develop
> relationships. The overarching goal is to make the best use of
> ISOC?s collective skills and talents to advance the mission and
> activities of the organization.
>
> We would like to invite you to join the ?Sphere? project. All
