Hi Terry
I was hoping to be able to participate in tonight's discussion, but
now can't - so first my apologies.
From my discussions here, people seem pretty happy with current
arrangements. with the following comments.
There is some concern about the US as the repository of membership
lists and there was support for a distributed system - so I'd be
happy to receive any feedback on how that issue progresses.
The other is really a question. What is meant by members
'periodically' re-affirming their ISOC Global and chapter membership
(rule 2.2). For our purposes, we collect membership fees so we can
be pretty sure people want to be an ISOC-AU member - and thus they
become a Global member as well (rule 1.1) Does that count as re-
affirming Global membership and, if not, what else might be
expected. I know that has received some comments, so I'd also be
interested in how this issue progresses.
Again, my apologies, and I look forward to participating in further
discussions
Kind regards
