Good morning:
The membership criterion for the ISOC European Coordinating Council (ECC),
Chartered by the Internet Society, is as follows:
<<Article V. - Membership
Membership shall be open to all Active Internet Society Chapters in the
European Region, that is a Chapter located in a country which is a member of
the Council of Europe.>>
See:
http://www.isoc-ecc.org/mambo453/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=129&Itemid=50
Membership of the Council of Europe is widely used as a broad and reasonably
flexible definition of the European area. In any event, for the purposes of
ISOC, all members of the European Union (EU) and of the European Economic
Area (EEA) should be included in the same "region".
With regards to you all,
CW
