[Chapter-delegates] Action Requested: ISOC Chapter Events - 22 September

Dear Colleagues-

A reminder that we have scehduled a phone conference for Thursday, 26 July
to discuss coordinating a series of ISOC chapter events that would take
place worldwide on 22 September. 

For clarification, while the ISOC chapter events would be held on the same
day as OneWebDay (22 September), our intent all along has been to showcase
ISOC chapters around the globe and the benefits of the Internet (whereas the
focus of OneWebDay's is on the Web).  

We hope that you will join Anne Lord and I on the calls next Thursday.
Depending on the level of chapter participation, this can be an excellent
opporutunity to bring worldwide attention upon ISOC chapters and the good
you do in advancing the Internet in your communities.

Please let Anne know (off list) which call you would like to participate in.

Group 2 - UTC 21:00

The phone conference will be by Marratech. Please take a look at  
installing Java or Marratech before joining the call.

- Marratech can be run from your browser: please go to
	https://marratech.webapps.isoc.org:8001 (this requires Java to be  
installed).
- It can also be downloaded from http://www.marratech.com

The meeting will be held in the public 'auditorium' room.

If you have never used Marratech before, we recommend that you  
test it beforehand. If you wish to do so,  please do not hesitate to  
contact Anne, Sebastian Bellagamba (Spanish) or Dawit Bekele (French).

Dear Colleagues,

For those who have previously expressed an interest in co-ordinating  
"One Web Day" activities we would like to plan for a phone conference  
on Thursday July 26th to share previous experiences and to brainstorm  
new activities. There will be two meetings held to accommodate the  
various timezones. As it is extremely difficult to schedule these  
calls across the various locations, i would like to ask for  
flexibility from folk in the hours that people participate. I  
apologise in advance for any "unsociable" hours.
