Dear Colleagues,
At the recent Chapter and Member meeting at San Juan in Puerto Rico I
gave an overview of the plans for 'Chapter Development'. I am now
circulating the document to the Chapter Delegates list.
Some background to the document
The goal of the document is to provide a high level overview of the
multi-year strategic effort to develop ISOC chapters into strong,
effective and robust organisations that promote and defend the
principles of the Internet Society. It is high level and describes
a framework for a large body of work in which we will all
participate. It is not intended to be prescriptive about specific
outcomes or deliverables with the exception of the section on
Communication tools to support the fostering of closer relationships.
The content and direction of the document has come from the feedback
from chapter delegates that I and my colleagues have received over
the last 6 months and of course prior to that in many conversations
over the years.
Summary Presentation
For those who do not want to read the full document attached, there
is a summary presentation at:

Feedback
On or off list, I would welcome feedback and comments on the document
and whether you support the high level plan outlined.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Best wishes,
Anne
PS. I will be off line shortly for 24 hours travelling, so apologies
if I do not respond immediately to your email.
