Hello Frank,
I was only saying that the templates should be accessible. I now understand
that Michael Burks of my organization is working with Anne Lord to test the
templates and we appreciate being part of the effort.
Michael had not communicated with me that we had moved forward to assist in
the ISOC template accessibility effort. I have been busy overseas with my
presentations at the Internet Governance Forum in Rio de Janeiro, the ITU
presentation in Geneva and my most recent participation at an international
web and ICT accessibility event in Belgrade, Serbia.
Now that the UN Convention or treaty on Rights of Persons with Disabilities
has been signed by 120 countries, it will be especially important for the
template to be accessible. The accessible ICT obligations of the Convention
require countries to take all appropriate measures to urge private entities
to make their Internet content accessible to persons with disabilities. The
ISOC template can serve as a model example of accessible design for chapters
everywhere.
Best regards,
Cynthia Waddell

Cynthia,
It is not?
Can you point to issues with current design?
Thanks
