Some caution is well advised.

However if ISOC is to involve itself so directly in governmental  
consultancy as you propose a partnership with UN that was carefully  
crafted would make not just financial sense as the UN has direct  
remit with governmental agencies which are directly concerned with  
telecommunications policy.
