David, fellow Chapter members,

While (a) is a concern and (c) probably a lesser problem in our case, (b)
is not represented correctly IMHO. It's not only about currency. It simply
doesn't make sense to move our chapter members' fees from DE (or Europe)
through the US back to DE (unless you are one of the banks involved).
I understand that we do not have to use this feature but then it should
be completely disabled for our chapter. A fee of 0 (in whatever currency)
is misleading. What's also misleading is that the system suggests that
people could sign up for our chapter by simply filling out the web form.

We haven't seen any notification of new "chapter members" since then,
unfortunately.
