Patrick, Veni and Rosa,

Thank you for your efforts and prompt, concise and clear relation.

The BoT feels that it understands our concerns. Nice to know.

> This issue could be addressed through different channels like
> teleconferences, online chats, etc.

Channels are just a tools. Pigeon and smail mail would be enough if
there would be message to deliver or open minds to receive the response.

> We need to explain in much greater
> detail the why's and how's of the decisions taken.

You may want to ask and consider the responce before decisions are taken.

No need to explain who, why and how is going to gain a profit from
decisions taken against the common sense and popular believes.

> Regarding the paying membership program, the sense of the board is that
> the program will neither be cancelled nor postponed.

Non-sense of the Board? No comments.

> However, is the light of your comments, ISOC will put the program under review to
> address the issues, like the names of the different membership categories.

Names are secondary issue. Proposed ones served well to made us aware of
BoT attitude to global membership.

> We encourage everyone to continue providing ideas to the
> chapter-delegates mailing list.

Twenty five years ago Jacek Kuron suggested to Lech Walesa: do not burn
their Committees. Built your own ones instead.

No need to trouble the Board and its President with our messages filling
her mailbox.

Regards

Wladek
