Dear Gene and all,
Great idea to honor Vint and Bob through ISOC in the USA.
I had the pleasure to do it in Europe last Friday, as an introduction to the
conference "Foresight of the Internet" organized by the Information Unit of
the Destree Institute in Namur - where you had all been invited through ISOC
lists and newsletter.
As Borka said on this list, it was a very innovative conference and Vint has
accepted to sponsor the creative project we propose in order to create a
living memory of this event, about "History and foresight of the Internet".
Of course more news will come about this.
Best wishes for the event you organize, Gene, Vint and Bob are worth all the
celebration we can organize in their honor !
Kind regards,
Marie-Anne
