[chapter-delegates] 6 chapters to be dissolved

I wish to mention to this list that ISOC intends to dissolve six
chapters on this coming January 31st and remove them from our
web site.  They are the following chapters:

-          Gabon
-          Georgia
-          Madagascar
-          Mauritania
-          Russia-Tatarstan
-          Spain-Andalusia

We have not had contact with the officers at these chapters in some time
though we have taken considerable effort to make such contacts.  If
anyone on the list knows of any reason why we might be mistaken in any
of this please let me know.  For now, however, I see no other
alternative.

We appreciate their past interest and we wish all their members great
success in the future and will be happy to welcome them back to the ISOC
family as and when they might re-apply in this or another grouping.

This action by us will be without prejudice to the members or officers
of these chapters from reorganizing or otherwise self-organizing into a
new chapter and applying for chapter status as per the guidelines at
<http://www.isoc.org/isoc/chapters/application/>.

Nelson Sanchez will be sending a message similar to this one to all
Chapter Members of these chapters.
