Fortunately, there is something called "Fair Use" (FL-102)

Furthermore, most I-D authors consider their work
as public domain (when I ask them permission to keep
a copy of it).

Nevertheless, since there are multiple interpretation
of I-D copyright; 2026bis (4026? :-) should make a clearer
statement.
