Dear Chapter Leaders,
I am K Mohan Raidu, founding President of the ISOC India Hyderabad Chapter and its ChAC Representative. I am standing for the 2027 ChAC Steering Committee. I served on the Steering Committee in 2022, and I would like to bring that experience back to help build a stronger, better-connected Chapter community.
At the moment our Chapters are a bit loosely connected: they are ranked on evaluation points, but there are few incentives or rewards for good work. I would like to change that with a yearly calendar of four global Chapter events, planned with teams drawn from Chapter ChAC Representatives, along with competitions, recognitions, and travel support to regional and global events for the best-performing Chapters and members.
I also want to see better knowledge sharing and clearer ways for Chapters to contribute to Internet Society priorities. I started the first ISOC Academic Hubs in universities and institutions, which brought thousands of young people into our community. Through them, I have organized large events with ICANN, IETF and the ISOC Foundation at Microsoft campuses. I organized Projects and Event on DNSSEC, UA, DDCN, Internet measurement, Universal Acceptance, IPv6, encryption and blockchain. I am closely associated with most of  the forums on Internet Governance at leadership roles.
When elected, I will bring the same practical, hands-on approach to helping Chapters grow and to advancing an open, secure and inclusive Internet. I would be grateful for your support when voting opens on 22 October.
