Dear Chapter Leaders:



On behalf of the Internet Society Elections Committee, I wish to extend my appreciation and thanks to all of the candidates for the Board of Trustees elections. We are honored that so many qualified individuals offered to serve on the board. Voting closed on Monday and the election results were certified today, in accordance with the elections timetable.



CHAPTERS

In the Chapters election, there were five (5) candidates for two (2) seats. Having received the most votes, Caleb Ogundele and Ramanou Biaou have been elected to a 3-year term each.



Voter turn-out in the Chapters election was 91.06%. Of the 123 eligible chapters, 112 voted. In accordance with the Procedures for Selecting Trustees<https://www.internetsociety.org/about-internet-society/governance-policies/procedures-selecting-trustees/>, Publication of the Result, Caleb Ogundele received 86 votes and Ramanou Biaou received 52 votes.



In addition, the Procedures for Selecting Trustees<https://www.internetsociety.org/about-internet-society/governance-policies/procedures-selecting-trustees/> state that, “ISOC will make available a list of all Chapters eligible to vote in an election, indicating which Chapters exercised their voting privilege.” I am pleased to share that list with you (attached to this email).



ORGANIZATION MEMBERS

In the Organization Members election there were three (3) candidates for one (1) seat. Having received the highest weighted vote counts, Sharon Kent has been elected to 3-year term.



Voter turn-out in the Organization Members election was 66.66%. Of the 75 eligible Organization Members, 50 voted.



Please join me in congratulating the successful candidates and thanking all who ran. I also wish to thank all voters, members of the Elections Committee, and ISOC staff who supported the elections process.
