Sending a gentle reminder of the open call for chapter peer mentors: → If you are interested in being included in the 2026 mentor pool, please submit this interest form<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2026chapterpeermentors> by 15 March 2026. We will relaunch the updated list shortly thereafter.

Information:
The Internet Society’s Chapter Peer Mentor Pool<https://isoc.box.com/s/01vdin1jqc79y3bvfo0a5kg10b950lu0> continues to serve as a valuable, peer-driven resource connecting chapters with experienced leaders across our global community. As we prepare the 2026 mentor list, we invite current and former chapter leaders to consider volunteering as a chapter peer mentor.

Chapters may seek peer support at various stages of their development — whether expanding activities, securing sponsorships, navigating elections or leadership transitions, or strengthening governance practices.

Mentorship topics include:

  *   Developing Chapter Activities

  *   Membership Growth and Engagement

  *   Chapter Communications (from strategy to implementation)

  *   Chapter Leadership Elections (including election observers)

  *   Local Partnerships, Fundraising, and Sponsorships

  *   Non-profit Management (including local legal registration)

  *   Chapter Formation Guidance and Support


Chapter peer mentorship is a self-directed, peer-to-peer initiative. Mentors are listed publicly and may be contacted directly by chapters seeking advice. We encourage volunteers who can reasonably commit to being responsive and engaged when contacted. By joining the mentor pool, you make yourself available to be contacted by fellow chapters for informal guidance and knowledge sharing.
