I have reviewed the documents and they are well put. I therefore have no objection and wholly support the establishment of the chapter.

Dear Sohini,
I have reviewed the documents and they are in order.
I always support the establishment of a new chapter but make sure the remnant of the previous chapter doesn't affect your effort.
Welcome to the family!

Dear Flávio,
Thank you very much for your support and for highlighting that the status of the previous Internet Society Malaysia Chapter may not have been widely known. I agree that it would be useful to share this update with everyone to support the review process, please find the details below:
The Internet Society Malaysia Chapter was formally dechartered on 8 June 2026, following an extended rejuvenation effort that began in October 2023. Despite an extension, the rejuvenation committee was ultimately unable to restore the chapter. It has since also been removed from our website’s chapter map<https://www.internetsociety.org/chapters/>, and there is currently no active chapter in Malaysia.
The current Chapter Interest Group includes representatives from the rejuvenation committee, and after collective discussion, it was agreed that establishing a new chapter would be the most constructive path forward.
I hope this is useful for the peer review. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional information.
Thank you, and wishing a lovely weekend to everyone!
Kind regards,
Sohini
