[Chapter-delegates] [Urgent Appeal] Supporting ISOC Venezuela’s Emergency Deployment – Every Chapter Can Help

Dear fellow Chapter Delegates,

I hope this message finds you well.

As many of you know from the recent global staff update, Venezuela was
recently hit by devastating earthquakes. In response, our Chapter is on the
ground deploying emergency connectivity networks to support search,
humanitarian
aid teams, civil society and temporary shelters.

While *Internet Society (ISOC) has generously stepped in to support us with
the core equipment* (including critical satellite terminals), we face an
urgent bottleneck to make these networks fully operational.

We are currently self-funding vital field materials, tools, and deployment
logistics. To keep our technical teams in the zone of disaster, we need
immediate help to cover costs such as:

   -

   *Deployment Materials & Consumables:* UTP cabling, connectors, tape, and
   protective gear (gloves, safety equipment).
   -

   *Field Tools:* Network crimpers, testing equipment, and hardware
   accessories.
   -

   *Logistics & Field Expenses:* Fuel/gasoline for transport, basic
   supplies for the technical volunteers on the ground.

directly into the field operations.
