[Chapter-delegates] Reminder: Invitation to nominate candidates for the 2026 Chapter Advisory Council Steering Committee

Dear Chapters Advisory Council Representatives,

Friendly reminder:
As the Chapters Advisory Council (ChAC) Representatives of your chapter, you are invited to nominate a candidate for election to the 2026 Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee.

*The nomination form was sent to you in a separate email. Please look for the email, the sender is "rejman at isoc.org via SurveyMonkey <member at surveymonkeyuser.com>".

  *   Instructions: select one or more representatives from the list to nominate for the 2026 Steering Committee. You may select up to nine (9) and can nominate yourself.
  *   *The nomination form will be open until 05 October 2025, at 23:59 UTC. The ChAC SC Nominations & Elections Process & Timeline<https://isoc.box.com/s/zhmy549q3ym8ziurtf5l5dokhl3bdpmz> is available for your reference.

Requirements / Time commitment:

  *   Meetings: The ChAC Steering Committee meets at minimum 1x/month. The Full Chapters Advisory Council meets 4x/year (once per quarter). Full ChAC meetings are hosted by the ChAC Steering Committee.
  *   Correspondence: the work of the ChAC Steering Committee is carried out via zoom meetings and email discussions throughout the year. Requirement includes the ability to communicate effectively in English.

The ChAC is the voice of the chapters to the Internet Society President & CEO and Board of Trustees. The ChAC Steering Committee is a group of nine (9) geographically diverse members elected from among the ChAC representatives to lead the Committee’s discussions and draft recommendations on the topics brought forward by the chapters.
