[Chapter-delegates] Upcoming: ChAC Steering Committee Elections – Ensure Your Chapter Has a Rep Listed!

Dear Colleagues,

The 2026 Nominations and Elections process for the Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee (ChAC SC) will launch soon. You can find the Process & Timeline here: https://isoc.box.com/s/zhmy549q3ym8ziurtf5l5dokhl3bdpmz

The nomination period opens Monday, 22 September. To participate, your chapter must have a designated Chapters Advisory Council Representative (ChAC Rep). Please:

  *   Review the current list of ChAC Representatives here: https://www.internetsociety.org/chapters/chapters-advisory-council/list-of-representatives/
  *
If your chapter’s Rep is not listed or term has ended, your AMS Admins can update the record in the Community Portal by adding the Chapter Advisory Council Representative role.
  *
If you need assistance, reach out to your regional Community Engagement Manager.

Important: Only the officially listed ChAC Representatives of each chapter are eligible to be nominated and to vote in the ChAC SC elections.

The Chapters Advisory Council brings together chapter representatives worldwide to serve as the voice of the chapters to the Internet Society’s President & CEO and Board of Trustees. The nine-member ChAC Steering Committee, elected from among the Reps, leads discussions and develops recommendations on issues raised by chapters.
