Dear Internet Society Chapter Leaders,
I am writing to respectfully ask for your vote in the upcoming Chapters
Advisory Council (ChaC) elections.
As Chapter Leaders, you understand that the ChaC's strength lies in its
ability to connect the global ISOC mission with the grassroots reality. My
candidacy is rooted in a proven, decade-long commitment to this principle.
Why Am I the Right Candidate? 🔋
My experience is perfectly suited to bridge our network's needs:
-
*Deep ISOC Expertise:* My professional background in *networking
administration and teaching*, combined with a decade of active ISOC
engagement—spanning *chapter work, fellowships, mentoring in our early
career fellowship and tutoring in our e-learning platform programs*—provides
a holistic view. I bring an essential bridge of expertise, linking diverse
local realities to global strategy. I will ensure ChaC's support is
*culturally
relevant* and strategically impactful.
-
*The ChaC's Essential Role:* My main motivation is that the *ChaC is the
essential link between ISOC's global management and local chapter
leadership*. This platform combines global objectives with grassroots
efforts to achieve real, sustainable change for the Internet.
-
*A Clear Vision for 2026:* My primary goal is to establish a more
effective, data-driven partnership. *By 2026, the ChaC will launch the
Chapter Impact Accelerator. To ensure global policy makers are informed by
cross-regional data, and local leaders use global insights for maximum
local impact.*
I understand the challenges of running a chapter on the ground. I promise
to be a dedicated, effective voice for you, translating your needs into
strategic action at the highest level of the Internet Society.
I sincerely appreciate your consideration and look forward to serving you.
Best regards,
Alejandra Stolk
