Subject: [Internet Policy] Fwd: Call for Endorsements – Five-Point Plan for
an Inclusive WSIS+20 Review
To: internetpolicy at elists.isoc.org
Dear Colleagues,
a couple of weeks ago, on Thursday 13 March 2025, I forwarded an email from
Jordan Carter pointing to a joint statement being drafted by civil society,
the technical community and the private sector entitled "Five Point Plan
for an Inclusive WSIS+20 Review".
This is a reminder that now this Statement is complete, a couple of days
remain for Chapters to sign on it and I am surprised so few ISOC Chapters
are listed.
Endorsements are possible by emailing Lea Kaspar (her email is shown below)
and adding your chapter details directly in the document as a suggestion.
Kindest regards,
Olivier

Subject: [MIGG-UK] Call for Endorsements – Five-Point Plan for an Inclusive
WSIS+20 Review

Hi fellow MIGG-UK members,
I’m reaching out to invite your support for a cross-community initiative
aimed at shaping the modalities of the WSIS+20 Review Process.
As the process advances, an informal group of WSIS stakeholders—including
civil society, the technical community, and the private sector—has
developed the Five-Point Plan for an Inclusive WSIS+20 Review. This
concise, principles-based, and practical document outlines key
recommendations to operationalize WSIS modalities and support an inclusive
and effective review process. It is intended for key stakeholders
responsible for implementing the modalities resolution, including the
co-facilitators, the President of the General Assembly, and UN DESA staff
serving as the acting Secretariat.
The letter is now open for endorsements until COB Monday, 24 March, with
publication planned for noon UTC on Wednesday, 26 March (following the
formal adoption of the modalities resolution by the UNGA). Any help in
gathering endorsements by the deadline would be greatly appreciated.
Once the endorsement period closes, we will circulate the final version
with a tailored cover note and the full list of endorsers, which can then
be shared publicly.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thanks in advance for
your support!
Best,
Lea Kaspar
