Hi Christopher,
I also read about this, and I believe the best alternative for now is for
those Chapters to create their own individual YouTube channels and
re-upload the videos before they are deleted, ensuring that years of
valuable intellectual discussions are preserved.
Alternatively, when Chapters stream their events, they can use a free
multistream service that allows them to broadcast simultaneously on both
YouTube and Facebook. This would eliminate the need to download and
re-upload videos to a different platform, making the process more efficient
going foward.
Other folks can chime in if they know of any other best practices chapters
can adopt.
