[Chapter-delegates] Applications Now Open – 2025 Global Encryption Day Grants!

Dear Chapter Leaders,
Applications for the 2025 Global Encryption Day Grants are now officially open!
Let us join forces once again to protect end-to-end encryption and push back against any efforts that threaten it. This year, 50 mini-grants of $1,400 USD each are available to support activities held between 21 September and 21 October 2025.
Grants will be reviewed on a rolling basis by the Internet Society Foundation, and funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis—so we strongly encourage you to apply early!

Eligibility summary:

  *   Only one grant per GEC member.
  *   Applicants must have a bank account that accepts funds from a U.S. entity.
  *   Grantees must submit a short report and consent to the event being listed on the GEC calendar.
  *   Applications must be submitted through Fluxx.
