[Chapter-delegates] 📣 Call for Chapter and SG/SIG Collaboration – Regional Online Safety Event

Dear Chapter Delegates,

The Internet Society Online Safety Special Interest Group (SIG) is pleased
to announce our upcoming Regional Online Safety Event under the theme:
“Building a Safer Internet: Digital Literacy and Online Protection for the
Next Generation.”

This regional event, starting in Africa (Ghana), is the first of a
multi-region initiative that will rotate across:
- North America
- Latin America & the Caribbean
- Asia/Australia/Pacific
- Europe, etc.

🤝 Call for Chapter and SG/SIG Collaboration
As part of our mission to expand the reach of this initiative, we are
inviting all Internet Society Chapters to collaborate with the Online
Safety SIG in organizing, supporting, and promoting this event across your
local communities.

We aim to create an inclusive platform for sharing best practices,
enhancing digital literacy, and strengthening efforts around child and
youth online safety.

To join the collaboration, we kindly ask all Chapter Leads to:

✅ Or send a message to +233 55 709 6497 on WhatsApp to be added to our
coordination group.

This will enable smooth engagement and coordination between the SIG and
Chapter leaders, as well as provide access to planning resources and
promotional materials.
