[Chapter-delegates] Celebrating Growth and Connection: A Heartfelt Recap of the Largest ISOC at LACNIC LACNOG Event!

Dear Community,

This week, we had the immense joy of hosting the largest ISOC at LACNIC LACNOG event after pandemic, bringing together 38 passionate members! The energy in the room was nothing short of electric, as we gathered to reflect on the remarkable journey of our chapters and to celebrate their many achievements, including our recent Community Day were we shared some LAC chapters wins during 2024.<https://heyzine.com/flip-book/b89794494e.html#page/1>

One of the highlights of the event was a heartfelt tribute from the Paraguay Chapter to Joyce Dogniez. They expressed deep gratitude for her invaluable support in establishing their chapter 12 years ago. It was a touching reminder of the friendships and collaborations that have shaped our community over the years.

As we shared stories and insights, we couldn’t help but feel the excitement building for next year’s projects. Conversations about focusing on Community Networks (CNs) for indigenous communities arrived as a promise for fostering connection and empowerment in our regional communities.

Though these gatherings are informal, I always say this is where the magic happens! It’s in these moments of connection and collaboration that we lay the groundwork for future successes. Your contributions make these events not just possible, but truly extraordinary.
