06 October deadline: Invitation to nominate candidates for the 2025 Chapter Advisory Council Steering Committee

Dear Chapters Advisory Council Representatives,

This is a friendly reminder that the nomination form will close on 06 October. Don’t miss your chance to nominate candidates for the 2025 Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee (ChAC SC) elections.

How: All ChAC Reps received an email on 23 September with subject, “Invitation to nominate your candidate for the 2025 Chapter Advisory Council Steering Committee” from sender rejman at isoc.org via SurveyMonkey <member at surveymonkeyuser.com><mailto:rejman at isoc.org%20via%20SurveyMonkey%20%3cmember at surveymonkeyuser.com%3e> with a link to the nomination form.

Instructions: select one or more representatives from the list to nominate for the 2025 Steering Committee. You may select up to nine (9) and can nominate yourself.

Requirements / Time commitment:

  *   Meetings: The ChAC Steering Committee meets at minimum 1x/month. The Full Chapters Advisory Council meets 4x/year (once per quarter). Full ChAC meetings are hosted by the ChAC Steering Committee.
  *   Correspondence: the work of the ChAC Steering Committee is carried out via zoom meetings and email discussions throughout the year. Requirement includes the ability to communicate effectively in English.

This is a reminder to nominate candidates for the 2025 Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee (ChAC SC) elections.

The ChAC is the voice of the chapters to the Internet Society President & CEO and Board of Trustees. The ChAC Steering Committee is a group of nine (9) geographically diverse members elected from among the ChAC representatives to lead the Committee’s discussions and draft recommendations on the topics brought forward by the chapters.
