Hi team,

I hope this message finds you well.

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to formally resign from my
position as Vice President at ISOC India Bengaluru Chapter, effective
1-Oct-2024.

I have always valued the opportunities and experiences I have had during
the last month. However, I recently became aware that I was not invited to
the important event inSIG 2024 held by the ISOC India Bengaluru Chapter.
Being Vice President of ISOC India Bengaluru Chapter, while checking with
Adarsh, Secretary ISOC India Bengaluru Chapter, I came to know that I was
not included as a part of any committee in inSIG 2024. Further, I was being
told that it is decided by some other committee on who should be or not
invited to attend inSIG 2024, while some members from ISOC India Bengaluru
managed to be a part of all the committees like steering committee,
organizing committee, fellowship committee. My question is that being a VP
of ISOC India Bengaluru chapter and not allowed to attend the event being
conducted by ISOC India Bengaluru Chapter, then what is the need of having
a VP in your chapter if it is being controlled by someone else.

This exclusion has led me to reflect on my role and the value I bring to
the organization. Being left out of such a significant event has made me
feel undervalued and disconnected from the core activities of the
organization.

While this decision was not made lightly, I believe it is in the best
interest of both myself and the organization. I am committed to ensuring a
smooth transition.

Thank you for the support and opportunities you have provided me last
month. I wish the organization continued success in all its future
endeavors.

Sincerely,

Sheikh Raashid Javid
Ex-VP ISOC India Bengaluru Chapter
