[Chapter-delegates] Following Up on the CEO Announcement

Dear colleagues,
Yesterday, Ted Hardie sent a message to the ISOC community announcing that the Internet Society Board of Trustees has selected me to become CEO of the Internet Society and Internet Society Foundation effective 1 September 2024.
I want to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to be the Internet Society’s next CEO. This is an exciting time for the Internet Society, and I am honored to continue our organization’s critical mission.
It is my strong belief that the Internet Society’s strength lies within our global community.  This includes chapters, organization members, individual members, the IETF, partners, staff, and Internet leaders across the globe who are building and defending the Internet.  Our success comes when this global community comes together with a strong and effective voice for an open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet.
I will be setting up opportunities for us to connect in the coming months leading up to my role as CEO. You can expect to hear more from me in the coming days and weeks.
I want to thank you all for your dedication and passion for the Internet Society and our mission.
