[Chapter-delegates] ISOC LIVE - the reports of its death are exaggerated, but..

Hello everyone,
I am horrified by this type of decision.
On the one hand, Joly provides a quality service and is of exemplary
availability for a fee that seems quite modest in relation to our overall
budget. What's certain is that his work is of the highest quality and works
well. At a time when we're questioning our ability to make our community
tool a 3rd failure, it's amazing to cut what's working well.
Regarding community use, aren't we looking at things the wrong way round?
What efforts are being made in terms of marketing and communication to make
"on demand" a success? Isn't it our responsibility to store and archive
this important heritage? Isn't it our responsibility to know how to make
the most of it? Once again, these decisions conflict with our objectives.
Finally, the suggestion to include Joly's services in individual project
financing will only add to the final bill.
Best regards,
Nicolas CHAGNY
