*Training on DDCN – Designing and Deployment of Computer Networks*



*Internet Society Foundation is offering a skill based training programme,
Designing and Deployment of Computer Networks(DDCN) in India during
2024-2025.*



The DDCN course, a moderated online course, is for students with a basic
understanding of computer hardware and software, and who are already
familiar with personal computers. It begins with teaching the fundamentals
of networking, Ethernet, as well as Wi-Fi technologies. From the
fundamentals, the course moves into the planning, design, and deployment of
simple LANs and covers the most common ways to connect a LAN to the
Internet (mobile Internet, ADSL, fiber) and how to set up the connections.
In addition, the course will present the most common maintenance issues as
well as how to solve those issues. The course will have theoretical and
practical components.

Far from the typical classroom experience, the DDCN course is a deep dive
into the world of networking, from ethernet and Wi-Fi technologies to
network planning, troubleshooting, and more. Under the guidance of industry
experts, participants explore network components and how they work and
discover how to resolve common maintenance issues.  Best of all,
participants get to immerse themselves in the enjoyment of applying what
they know and configuring devices they’ve previously only read about.

*The DDCN course is conducted in two phases – the first 5 weeks of
moderated online training and 5 days of face-to-face Boot Camp training for
the practical sessions  and the second will be a three-month **internship
at a local company.  Finally the Graduation day will take place at the end
of the Internship.*
