role as an equal partner at the high level discussions that take place. As a
UN organisation, we assume that the ITU upholds the UN principles of
cooperation and dialogue, and will listen to the voices of organisations
such as ISOC and ICANN who represent us as end-users in the future
development of the internet.

Chapter election
Hi, Narelle.
Some natural questions for the candidates to be Trustees:
We'd like to hear the views of the candidates about the desire of the ITU to
have an increased role and control mechanisms over the Internet.
Also, on the ITU relations with ISOC. ISOC is a sector member of the ITU-T
and ITU-D. What's in it for ISOC? Who benefits more - ISOC or ITU, or both
equally?
We'd like also to hear what are your views on the new President/CEO - who he
or she should be, what qualities they ought to have?
Thanks.
