Yes, thanks for the correction, that's exactly what I meant. I did not intend to disparage anyone and I apologize unreservedly for any offense I caused.
Also, of course, we are already chartered in the US and have the responsibility to raise funds there, yet we aren't very good at that (our individual contributions have always been anemic, though I will say that they have improved over the time I've been here. In my first year, I am not joking, the number of donations was a single digit). Registering in new countries implies costs related to reportings, filings, and so on, and they're not light given the scope of the audits we do every year. So, I think it is wisest for us to get good at soliciting donations in the country where we're actually incorporated before we start trying to get good at it elsewhere.
