[Chapter-delegates] Call for volunteers to serve on 2023-24 Nominations and Election Committees.

A message from the Chapters Advisory Council Steering Committee (ChAC-SC)

Dear Chapter Delegate list members,




The Chairs of the ISOC Nominations and Elections Committees, have contacted
us to request our help in identifying volunteers from the Chapters
community who would be willing to serve on their committees in 2023-2024.

The Chapters Advisory Council has been requested to identify one (1)
volunteer to serve on the Nominations Committee and one (1) volunteer to
serve on the Elections Committee. The requirements for both positions and
the anticipated time commitment for each committee are listed on the Call
for Volunteers: https://isoc.box.com/s/omm5gxgqixf4dznao7bk4s2grf66arsb.
Volunteers who will add to the diversity of both committees are especially
desirable.

The timeline below, is designed to allow these committees to meet the
deadlines required by the ISOC Bylaws and the Procedures for Selecting
Trustees, and outlines the process

ChAC will be using to select these volunteers:

*Friday, August 25*: Deadline for applications.

*August 28-September 1*: ChAC Steering Committee will review the
applications received, selects the volunteers, and submit their names,
brief bios, and contact information to the ISOC Nominations Committee and
Election Committee chairs by *Monday, September 4*.

*September 4-8*: Nominations and Elections Committees chairs review the
ChAC selections and obtain signed Conflict of Interest disclosure forms
from the proposed volunteers.

*September 9*: Nominations and Elections Committees chairs submit lists of
proposed committee members to the ISOC board for approval.
